We decided to add a pet blog to our website because there is so much information out there (in newspapers and magazines, on the web, and on television), and we wanted our customers to have a site they could turn to in order to access that information. Our website is designed to give you an overview of our business and services, but it's also designed to be a resource of dog and pet information that you can use on a daily basis. We will provide links to retail outlets as well as links to sites devoted to pet safety and health. Recently we were advised by some concerned customers about the use of Cocoa Mulch in our gardens. Apparently the mulch contains a toxic chemical that can be fatal to dogs and cats if ingested. Springtime is the time to re-invent and restore our sleeping gardens, so please be aware of this danger. Cocoa Mulch can be purchased at all the various garden and home improvement stores in our area. Watch out, and don't forget to tell your neighbors if you own a dog or cat.

Life on the street isn't easy. A dog can get into a lot of dirt and grime. So when Mohawk arrived to Orphans of the Storm as a stray who had been living on the streets for who knows how long, they needed to call in the experts. Loving Care Pet Services heeded the call. We picked up little Mohawk and went to work. It was not long before we got through all of the dirt, street grime, and even a few dug-in burs to reveal the beautiful, sweet poodle that had been hidden.
