Recently we were reminded by some concerned customers of the dangers associated with the use of Cocoa Mulch in our gardens.  This mulch, available at most garden and home improvement shops in our area, contains a chemical that can be lethal to dogs and cats when ingested.  Be sure to ask your neighbors if they are using this product as well.  It smells like chocolate and is very enticing to dogs and cats.
