Q: “How much to groom my dog?”  

  A: Loving Care does not quote grooming rates over the phone. We prefer to see the dog and then give an estimate. Loving Care is not an “a la carte” shop; our grooming price includes nails, teeth, anal glands, shampoo, brushing and de-shedding. We do charge extra for matted dogs.

Q: “What kind of shampoo do you use?”  

  A: Loving Care uses the finest shampoos and conditioners. Our shampoos are both scented and unscented. Loving Care also stocks specialty shampoos for dry skin and other dog allergies. Customers may also supply their own shampoo.

Q: “Do you groom cats?”  

  A: Yes

Q: “Do you accept walk-ins?”  

  A: We prefer that customers call for appointments, even same day. We always do our best to accommodate our customers.

Q: “Do you take dogs that have been skunked”  

  A: Yes, and we use a special shampoo specifically for skunked dogs, not a hydrogen peroxide/baking soda solution. We charge an additional fee for this service.

Q: “How long does it take to groom my dog?”  

  A: Loving Care requests at least 4 hours, but sometimes it can take more or less than that. Upon check-in, leave a contact number and we will call you when your dog is ready. Loving Care does not want to keep your dog any longer than it has to.

Q: “Do you offer pick up and delivery service?”  

  A: Yes, but in New Trier Township only. There is a fee for both pick up and delivery ($5 Northfield and Winnetka; $7 Kenilworth, Wilmette, Glencoe, Glenview).

Q: “Do you accept credit cards?”  

  A: Yes, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also accept checks and cash.
